Celebrate local LGBT history with the Watkins for Pride Month! At 6 PM, Dr. Kathy Rose-Mockry of KU’s Emily Taylor Center for Women and Gender Equity will speak on the Lawrence Gay Liberation Front and local struggles for LGBT equality. At 7, we welcome Mike Silverman, who’ll speak on his extensive collection of activist materials recently donated to the Watkins. And check out our two exhibits on LGBT history, on view through July 15!
